Her Name means the Hidden one.
Her shadow among the primeval Gods is a symbol of protection. She
has been depicted as a young girl with the Red Crown of Egypt. She
is the Mother of All other Gods and Goddesses, Coming in the beginning
with Amun from the primeval waters of the Abyss. Amaunet was one
of the 8 Ogdoad (The First Gods) The Other 7 are Nun, Naunet, Heh,
Hauhet, Kek, Kauket, and Amaunets' consort Amun.
