Legend of the Runes

Odin the king of the norse gods seeking wisdom hung himself upside down  on a tree for 3 days he hung there until at the end of these 3 days the magick of the Runes was revealed to him.
This story is represented by the "Hanged man" card in the Tarot deck.  IN this legend Odin is nailed upside down on the tree which is symbolic of his will frozen or fixed attitudes.  He was stuck to a way of life until he came to a point of life or death.  If he did not see the way of light and spiritual growth he would remain stuck and eventually die.  But out of desperation he was forced to let go of his ego and open his mind to the spiritual aspirations of his soul.  The situation requires no further action it is the visualizing of his situation that allowed the Runes to come to him.  So it is with any one who is stuck in life all that is required is to know that you are stuck, then you may grow.
(if you know you are stuck but do not want or know how to change is another matter.)

Casting the Runes

First place all the runes face down on a cloth used for ritual.
The Cloth should only be used for this purpose or for other
similar ritual.
Next move the Runes around shuffling them clock wise.
While you are doing this focus on your question or situation.

Now the Runes are ready.

there are a few ways to do the readings.

Rune Comparison

In many languages the alphabets have different meanings other then what the letter is.  The Norse Runes are not much different then other languages.  The Runes them selves where used for a written language as well as for the magickal properties.  The egyptians also did this with the hieroglyphs.  The Hebrew alphabet also does this.  If you are familiar with the meanings of the hebrew letters it is possible to use them like the Runes.
