Sister/Wife of Set, Nephthys never felt the love from her husband that her sister Isis recieved from Osiris. She became so upset that one night she disquised her self as Isis and laid down with Osiris. From this union Anubis was born. For fear of Set Nephthys abandened the child. Isis learning that the child was of Osiris took Anubis in and raised him as her own. Later upon the death of Osiris, Nephthys reconciled with her sister and helped her resurect her dead husband. Nephthys became the Goddess of women and suffering. With her sister Isis the pair protect the pharaoh with their wings. Nephthys is also one of the 4 goddesses that guard the canopic jars in the tomb. Along with Neith,  Serqet.  and Isis
