In Ancient times before the arrival of the new gods Isis, Nephthys, Osiris, Set, and Horus the Elder.
The Followers of Ra became slack in their worship. Ra became Angered and sent out his right eye "Sekhmet"
Sekhmet began to kill and slaughter all that crossed her path. Her fury was so great that Ra feared she
may wipe out everything. Sekhmet however would not listen to Ra and continued her blood shed. Ra then
devised a plan to deceive Sekhmet, by placing Red wine along the path where she would travel.
Seeing this and thinking it to be blood Sekhmet began to drink.. soon she was asleep. Ra then returned her
to the heavens until she calmed. Sekhmet Later became a Goddess of healing and protection.
Another version of this Has Thoth devising the plan for Ra to bail him out and save the world.
There is also a legend of Thoth Embracing Sekhmet and transforming her into the Goddess Hathor
